What We're Looking For:
We're seeking a Junior Accountant who's eager to contribute to our mission of disrupting the industry. You're not just a numbers person – you're a financial ally ready to drive small businesses toward success and growth.
As a Junior Accountant, you're motivated to make an impact, initiate change, and be part of something transformative. You excel at multitasking, possess strong communication skills, and thrive in collaborative environments.
Responsibilities:
- Execute day-to-day bookkeeping tasks for small businesses nationwide, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
- Collaborate with clients to gather necessary financial information and documentation for bookkeeping purposes.
- Manage and reconcile bank accounts, credit card transactions, and other financial records using QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, to provide insights into clients' financial health.
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting processes and procedures to streamline operations and improve efficiency.
- Utilize advanced QuickBooks Online functionalities to map bank feed transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries, resolve discrepancies, and provide financial guidance and support as needed.
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance and best practices in bookkeeping processes.
Requirements:
- Demonstrated proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
- Strong understanding of basic accounting principles and concepts.
- Familiarity with balance sheet and income statement accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Prior experience in bookkeeping or accounting roles is preferred but not required.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and accounting software.
