Position: Calabrese Youth CenterJr. Program Manager
Schedule: Friday-Sunday, on-call.
Starting Salary Range: *$25-29.90/hr
*The stated starting salary pay range for this position is meant to reflect a range of where a typical entry level candidate would start and is not meant to be all inclusive. Additional education and experience may result in a starting pay outside of the stated range.*

As a CYC Jr. Program Manager you will be a valuable asset to Laradon’s mission by:
overseeing the day-to-day operations of Calabrese Youth Center, by ensuring the welfare and safety of residents, and providing the necessary assistance to increase independent living skills. Your job duties will focus on developing, researching, planning, and providing access to meaningful community outings, special events, and recreational activities for all youth.
No day is ever alike but you can generally look forward to the following responsibilities:
- In partnership with CYC leadership team, you will provide leadership and guidance to a team of residential counselors, including training, mentoring, and evaluating their performance.
- Assisting Program Manager with coordinating schedule and assigning activities for residents.
- Communicating with Program Manager and Director with day to day operations.
- Collaborating with Director to maintain activities for children/youth that are aligned with child/youth’s religious preferences.
- Train children/youth in use of community resources (RTD, laundromat, banks, restaurants, etc.).
- Respond to emergencies and crisis situations promptly and effectively.
- Drive participants as necessary for program needs.
- Oversee health and welfare of children/youth and report concerns and progress to Program Manager and assistant director.
- Train, and assist as necessary, children/youth in shopping, cleaning, money management, hobbies, personal hygiene, etc.
- Provide direct counseling and training services to children/youth.
- Provide 24-hour supervision to children/youth.
- Research, develop, and plan for community outings and on-site activities.
- Document and maintain budget
- Maintain accurate records of resident interactions, progress, and incidents.
- Ensure the completion passing of medication is smooth and timely.
- Ensure physical management reports are completed before end of shift.
- Collaborate with Leadership and Clinical Teams to create activities tailored to each youth’s care plan.
- Other duties as assigned.

We ask that you bring the following assets to our workplace:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Services, Behavioral Sciences, Psychology or related field preferred.
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills
- Valid driving license, good driving record, and reliable transportation
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Physical requirements include the ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force; physical condition to enable walking, standing, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling; stamina to be on feet and active for full work days; ability to complete training and perform physical management of child/youth as necessary, including physical restraints; ability to speak or exchange information in an audible manner.
