Jr. Marketing Associate (Affiliate Integrations)


About the Job


VS Media is looking for an organized and thoughtful Jr. Marketing Associate to support our Affiliate Team. This position will report directly to the Affiliate Manager. The Jr. Marketing Associate role is responsible for going through the end-to-end affiliate campaign setup process, which includes setting up the proper tracking techniques and various conversion post back methods. They will also support our marketing affiliates in any needed campaign optimizations, and assist in troubleshooting active campaigns as necessary. This role will work closely with the team for support and instruction and have established process documentation for guidance. The individual who succeeds in this role is someone who is both careful and dedicated, with a keen eye and attention to detail. They must be flexible in dealing with ambiguity, vocal in asking questions and driven to thrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with the ability to manage multiple tasks within tight deadlines and prioritize effectively. This candidate will need to be inquisitive, curious, and able to collaborate in a team environment. This is a great opportunity for a recent graduate or anyone looking to get a start in the Digital Advertising industry, and a thorough training period will be provided.


Areas of Training & Responsibilities


  • Learn VS Media's affiliate program processes
  • Work with the affiliate team to ensure affiliate campaigns are launched correctly
  • Troubleshoot campaign setups when needed
  • Develop, test and maintain technical integration components such as affiliate campaign tracking links and conversion post backs
  • Assist sales team in optimizing affiliates and their associated offers through creating and managing campaign reports and other performance analyses
  • Test, troubleshoot, identify bugs and escalate appropriately and accurately
  • Identify areas of opportunity within existing campaigns for optimizations
  • Set up new server-to-serve post backs and tracking integrations
  • Validate the formatting of tracking URLs, tracking pixels and post back events

Helpful Experience


  • Experience in data analytics, account management, partner marketing or adjacent capacity.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Microsoft Excel, as well as Google Docs/Sheets
  • Demonstrable highly organized multi-tasking and project management skills.
  • Excellent in-person, phone, and written communication skills, including the ability to ‘read’ your affiliate partner and anticipate their needs
  • Well-versed in data analysis and reporting
  • Self-motivated, organized, and extremely good at follow up
  • Critical thinker, proactive and confident team player
