Preferred Mortgage Bankers is seeking a Jr. Processor/MLO Assistant to who is passionate, driven and who desires to be a member of a successful team.

Qualifications for the Position:

• Processing experience - 2 years minimum
• Knowledgeable in Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, VA and FHA-Insured guideline
• Basic understanding of mortgage loan process, guidelines and programs
• Experience with Calyx LOS software a plus as well as MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet
• Technology savvy - proficient in Microsoft Outlook and Office Suite
• Strong presence and understanding of Social Media to help implement marketing campaigns
• Ability to multitask with strong attention to details
• Proficient organizational skills and ability to prioritize
• Exceptional communication skills with desire to help build relationships with borrowers and realtors and other professionals
• Strong listening, problem solving skills and out of box thinking

Responsibilities for the Mortgage Loan Originator/Processor Assistant:

• Work closely with the Top Producing Loan Originators & Branch Manager in a productive environment
• Supporting a team in the loan origination process as well as performing daily tasks in a timely manner.
• Assist sr. Loan Processor, Loan Originator/Branch Manager in origination activities and help accomplish their primary job responsibilities and goals
• Collect borrower documentation and prepare files for processing.
• Ensure files move through processing and closing in a timely manner
• Promptly respond to borrowers questions and concerns as well as update them on the status of their loans
• Communicate with processors to make sure all loans are moving through the approval process
• Prepare marketing materials and distribute electronically to our clients
• Perform other support or tasks as required

Job Type: Full-time -

Salary: Base Salary - starting: $17.00 per hour plus super strong bonus per file
