Job Description
Job Duties/ Responsibilities:
1. Help and Assist Loan Officers & Processors on the floor.
2. Order and review third party conditions to ensure accuracy and request change
if needed: Appraisal, Title, Insurance, VOE’s and third-party inspections.
3. Validate that documentation is labeled correctly in the folder.
a. Keep track of signed disclosures
b. Conditional Approvals
c. Initial Closing Disclosures
d. Match compensation, update fees in 2015 Itemized Screen.
4. Communicate with borrowers, collect, and follow up on missing documentation
for processing.
5. Send transition email to notify assigned processor.
6. Notify borrowers regarding conditional approval.
7. Send a 45-day email to the borrowers to inform them that the closing date is
approaching.
8. Coordinate signing arrangements, validate address for notary to meet borrowers,
phone numbers and share with title.
9. Set embassy appointments.
10. Send Insurance Quotes to Borrowers and get proper approval from them.
11. Create a third-party Invoice folder and keep track of all up to date invoices.
12. Responsible to provide updates with the outcome and progress of the files worked
per week to the Branch & Compliance Manager.
13. Responsible for sending email advising on cash to close and discussing Closing
Disclosures with borrowers.
14. Work on any related post-closing issues.
15. Additional duties/ responsibilities to follow while experience increases.
16. Send a departure email after the loan is closed/ funded Thanking you for the
opportunity to serve them and help the borrower set autopay if needed. –
Template to be provided.
17. Send Google or other Review invitations to the borrowers for feedback as
instructed.
18. Perform quality control checks on completed loan files to ensure accuracy and
compliance.
19. Directly communicate with lenders and borrowers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- 2-3 years of experience in a loan processing, banking, or administrative role
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, with aptitude to learn new software and systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong time management skills and multitasking ability

Preferred Skills and Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or higher
- Experience in the mortgage industry
- Familiarity with Encompass or other loan origination software
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local lending regulations
- Bilingual-Any language welcome
- NMLS Licensed

Training & Experience:
You will receive on-the-job training from your new employer. This training will help the junior
Loan Processor learn the specific processes and procedures of the company. The training may last
for a few weeks or months, depending on the company.
