Volt is immediately hiring a Jr. HR Associate to support Talent Management. This is an immediate opening in Fountain Valley, CA.
As a Jr. HR Associate you will:
- Assist in supporting the talent development, onboarding, employee engagement, and event activities for the Talent Management team.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders within the organization, to coordinate and enhance the Talent Management processes.
- Brainstorming and implementing event concepts and themes.
- Researching and booking venues.
- Utilize SuccessFactors and Checkr to manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless and efficient experience for new employees.
- Conduct thorough research on the organization to stay informed about its structure, contributing to an effective onboarding process and strategies.
- Process appropriate onboarding documentation (i.e. I-9s and payroll documents) guide new hires through necessary documentation and compliance requirements.
- Develop and dispatch onboarding emails and invitations via Outlook, ensuring timely communication and a positive first impression for new employees.
- Craft internal communications per organization requests.
- Responsible for overseeing Training & Talent and Onboarding shared mailbox.
- Assist with onboarding new employees including facilitating onboarding training programs in-person and via webinar.
- Assess training needs in conjunction with the corporate training plan.
- Assist with the coordination, communication, marketing and launch of e-learning programs.
- Monitor and track training attendance and reporting results.
- Administer online computer based training including course tracking and reporting and system administration.
This is a hybrid role, working 2 – 3 days onsite per week. Positions are temp for 12 months but offers a foot in the door of a company known to hire on our top talent.
The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-2 years of training, employee engagement or event planning
- 3 years of experience managing large scaled projects
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must be proficient in using MS Office
Pay Rate: $27-32/hr
