Position Description
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide information or access to physical documents, files, and forms of public record from the District and County Criminal Courts at law, trying criminal cases.
- To prepare and file, distribute, and maintain appropriate documents processed in department.
- To distribute process and respond to correspondence letters.
- To access and collect appropriate fees.
- To achieve optimum efficiency and accomplish the goals of the District Clerk's Office, as outlined in Organizational Strategic Plan, Section Operational Plan and Mission Statement.
- To adhere to all Administrative Standard Operating Procedures.

Requirements

Education:
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent from an accredited educational institution.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Must possess intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel.
- Must have above average reading skills.
- Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Must be able to maneuver, including lifting and moving a minimum of thirty (30) pounds.
- Must be capable of working under stress and managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Must be able to work independently without direct supervision.
- Must have excellent analytical, decision-making, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Must be able to work overtime without prior notice and work flexible hours as required.
- Must be willing to travel to any destination required to participate or assist with office projects.
- Must be eligible for employment in the United States.
- Testing will be required.

- $16.00 - $17.00 Hourly
- Based on 26 pay periods
Employment is contingent upon passing a background check and drug screen.
