Responsibilities:
- Assist with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems under the guidance of a licensed electrician
- Learn and apply knowledge of electrical codes and regulations, including the NEC (National Electrical Code)
- Perform frame carpentry tasks to support electrical installations
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete assigned tasks
- Assist with troubleshooting electrical issues and making necessary repairs
- Read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work area
Qualifications:
**Minimum of 2 years in commercial electrical work**
-High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an apprenticeship program or enrollment in a recognized apprenticeship program
- Basic knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools used in electrical work
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
- Knowledge of low voltage and high voltage systems is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot electrical issues
Note: This is an entry-level position, and we are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and develop their skills as an electrician.
