Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and talented Journeyman Carpenter who is ready to take their career to the next level. In this role, you will lead and participate in all aspects of outdoor living carpentry work, from framing to finishing, while ensuring that projects are completed on time and to the highest standards of quality. Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to plan carpentry projects.
• Lead a team of carpenters and laborers to execute projects efficiently and effectively.
• Utilize your expertise in framing and finishing to create durable and visually stunning outdoor structures.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and budget constraints.
• Train and mentor apprentices and junior carpenters to develop their skills and knowledge.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, both on-site and in our shop.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a carpenter, with a focus on outdoor construction projects.
• Proficiency in all aspects of outdoor carpentry, including deck building, pergola construction, and fence installation.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to effectively manage a team and coordinate with subcontractors.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing challenges on-site.
• Detail-oriented with a passion for craftsmanship and delivering high-quality work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
