Journeyman Finish Carpenter (High-End Residential / Year Round)

We are currently looking to hire an experienced Journeyman Finish Carpenter to join our team of builders and craftsman. This is a full-time year-round nonexempt position. Applicant must be a team player able to follow directions from a supervisor as well as problem solve independently. The ideal candidate understands detailed drawings and can execute complex installations from start to finish including cabinetry, doors, windows, casework, trim, built-in furniture, etc. All products and materials we install are of the highest quality, and our completed projects adhere to the highest quality standards.

Duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Cabinetry, door, and millwork installation.
• Paneling and siding installation.
• Flashing, waterproofing, and architectural caulking.
• Efficiently and accurately perform layout, assembly, and installation of cabinetry, casework & contemporary interior trim details.
• Coordinate work with project teams. Maintain direct communication and coordination with Finish Crew Foreman and Project Superintendent.
• Adhere to local building safety codes and guidelines.
• Demonstrate safe and skillful use of specialized power tools and equipment.
• Attend weekly safety meetings.

QUALIFICATIONS

• 8-10 years' experience as a Finish Carpenter with 5 of those years as a journeyman (preferred).
• Ability to read and comprehend plans, shop drawings, sub-trade specs, and apply information to required tasks.
• Must be extremely detail oriented.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Reliable transportation to and from the worksites during scheduled workdays.
• Must have a Finish Carpenter’s basic tool set. Major tools are provided.
