This full time, permanent Assistant Superintendentrole helps support the Superintendent and is a great entry level management role in Construction Management with a major land development company. As an Assistant Superintendent you will:
- Recognize and enforce quality standards through daily inspection of homes under construction.
- Ensure all home sites are in accordance with plans and specifications.
- Schedule and walk all inspections with inspectors.
- Conduct homeowner orientation and re-walks.
- Note outstanding homeowner walk-through items and schedule subcontractors to repair.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Ability to work overtime.
You will be successful in this Assistant Superintendent role if you are detail oriented, a strong communicator, and a team player.
As an Assistant Superintendent you will need:
- Strong MS Office and Outlook skills
- Ability to operate a smartphone
- High school diploma or GED
- A vehicle and valid driver's license
- Ability to stand and walk for 4-8 hrs
- Ability to meet deadlines
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00am-4:30pm, some flexibility required
