In this role, the successful candidate will work closely with users and peers to support a Java based Cash Equities Platform.
The successful candidate will be a J2EE/Java developer working within a small focused team with exposure to both front office and middle office technology. The role requires the ability to react quickly to business changes and liaise with a variety of technology groups and users. Daily tasks will include responding to business driven queries and ensuring the application is functionally operational. The candidate will also be responsible for making business and regulatory driven changes in the application.
*Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in systems analysis, design, development, testing and support
Minimum 5 years of experience in core Java, J2EE, Struts, JSP, HTML.
Minimum 5 years of experience with relational databases, especially Sybase/T-SQL
Experience with Autosys, Unix, scripting languages
Well-developed business communication skills - both written and verbal.
Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent experience
Experience working in Equities Middle Office environment
Experience in agile development practices
