We are currently seeking WAS Software Administrator, with a focus on WebLogic/Apache Tomcat. This position will work with Senior WAS administrator to refine the design, testing, implementation, installation, operation, troubleshooting and optimization, as well as to support and maintain the integrity and security of both the existing and any new WebLogic platforms, as needed.
Responsibilities:
Improve and implement process, procedures and automation or redundant tasks
Support multiple WebLogic, Tomcat, and JBoss Servers and J2EE applications
Perform and automate WAS administration
Provide Java/J2EE/Web Application deployment and production support
Apply quarterly and emergency patching of WebLogic components.
Work with developers and operational staff to provide solutions that fit within the constraints of the environment
Provide off-hours support as needed
Document and automate processes within the hosting environment
Provide ongoing performance monitoring and tuning of application environments, including Java heap and WebLogic memory settings.
Analysis and troubleshooting of issues as the arise.
Bachelor degree in Computer Science, related field or equivalent work experience required
Knowledge or experience in supporting CI/CD framework and DevOps processes.
Understanding and exposure to web servers such as IIS, iPlanet and Apache HTTP Server
Understanding and exposure to Windows, and Linux.
1 - 2 years combined design, support, and administration experience in Weblogic, Tomcat, or JBoss.
Knowledge or experience for WebLogic/Tomcat Administration with expertise in Installation, Configuration, Tuning, troubleshooting and Deploying application
Desired Skills
Solid understanding of J2EE concepts and implementations
WebLogic Server, Apache Tomcat and Red Hat JBoss experience
Understanding and exposure to high-availability architecture
Evaluate and recommend changes to enhance platform reliability such as monitoring, tools, process and best practices.
Excellent Customer Service, Communication and Technical documentation skills
Must be able to have a strong Korean & English speaking and writing skill.
