Sunrise Mart is a leading Asian supermarket and food hall chain, providing a wide range of high-quality products and delicious dining options to our valued customers. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Manager to join our team at the Midtown location. As the Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of our supermarket and food hall.

Job Description:

The Manager will oversee and lead the work of employees while planning and maintaining work systems, procedures, and policies that enable and encourage the optimum performance of its employees. The Manager will ensure that day-to-day operations run smoothly, work closely with teams, and operate Sunrise Mart according to the Company model and needs.

Essential Job Functions:

● Manage day-to-day operations, including opening and closing procedures

● Ensure accurate and timely food and beverage orders

● Maintain accurate financial records, including cash handling and inventory management

● Hire talent, provide training, and schedule staff members for adequate coverage

● Develop and implement sales and revenue strategies

● Handle customer complaints and resolve issues

● Ensure safety and sanitation regulations are followed as per NY Health and Sanitation.

● Conduct regular staff meetings and performance reviews

● Oversee general operations and maintain communication w/other departments & main office.

● Perform other duties as assigned by senior management

● Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail technology

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
