Position Title: Janitorial Supervisor

Position Type: Full-time, non-exempt

Schedule: 40 or more hours per week, evening, some weekends, overtime or on-call

5:30pm Start SUN-TH/M-F

Compensation: $22-26 an hour DOE +Benefits package

The ideal candidate has experience in Janitorial leadership, a hands on customer service approach, and a proven track record of client retention.

Some night-to-night tasks and responsibilities include:

• Inspecting the work of employees to ensure quality service.
• Document all inspections utilizing a proprietary CRM.
• Communicate clearly with employees and leads on development needs and plans for improvement.
• Training new and existing employees as needed and scheduled.
• Working with the Operations Manager to organize new and existing crews, manage schedules, create efficiencies and ensure profitability per account.
• Help in anyway needed for the team

RESPONSIBILITIES

• CUSTOMER SERVICE
• Proactive inspections of client accounts
• Build and maintain employee relationships
• Handle employee requests and issues
• Attend all initial walk-throughs with new accounts and implement new business with crews.
• Supervise Crews at various locations
• Conduct Employee evaluations
• Conduct training classes
• Supervise 35+ employees

• High school diploma or GED required
• 6+ years Janitorial experience
• 3+ years leadership experience
• Travel (driving) up to 85% of work hours
• Utilize CRM software effectively.
• Utilize app-based inspection programs to collect data regarding service results and maintain detailed written and/or electronic records of inspection documentation
• Present findings, reports, and programs summary in scheduled meetings with Operations Manager
• Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); Associates degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or a minimum of three years related experience and training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• (4) years of Janitorial Experience. Customer Service, lead/supervisory or training related
• Proven record of delivering high performance by achieving results individually and through a managed team.
• Proficiency with computers and ability to quickly learn software, web-based programs, and apps
• Proficiency in Google Tools
• Skill in obtaining Information through observations, inspections, and interviews
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) Preferred
• Valid CA driver’s license, clean DMV record is REQUIRED

Physical Demands:

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $26.00 per hour
