Summary: The Estate Services Lead is responsible for providing support, direction, coaching, and assistance to the Estate Services department. Our Estate Services Team is responsible for the overall cleanliness of the Winchester Mystery House facility, which includes the public areas of the restrooms, Central Courtyard, and parking lot, as well as the employee lounge, offices, and other behind-the-scenes areas. The Estate Services Team also assists with the setup and breakdown of estate events.
Essential Responsibilities will include the following, and other duties may be assigned.
· Leads, inspires, engages, coaches, and develops a highly diverse team in delivering exceptional guest service and creating a superior guest experience.
·Completes the scheduling and payroll of Estate Services Employees.
· Communicates feedback and addresses any and all performance issues, staff recognition, coaching, and/or discipline when appropriate to Department Management.
· Evaluates team performance and takes appropriate corrective action as needed to hold team members accountable.
· Monitors all departmental areas effectively while maintaining ongoing facility cleanliness to ensure a clean and inviting environment for guests.
· Performs opening and closing procedures of the Estate Services department as outlined.
· Maintains an optimistic and positive attitude and a strong focus on the quality of the staff and guests experience.
· Supports the estate by setting up for and cleaning during events and special programs.
· Provides information and directions to guests and responds appropriately to complaints and questions.
· Cleans and restocks restrooms, picks up and removes litter, empties garbage cans, and changes trash liners around the estate unassisted. Ensures all guest-facing and staff work areas are properly cleaned and sanitized according to WMH standards. Searches for and reports safety hazards.
· Ensures cleanliness by dusting, cleaning windows, and vacuuming. Responds to cleaning of spills, including blood-borne pathogens.
· Leads team members in the setup and clean up for onsite events, including moving tables and chairs and removing trash.
· Assists with supply inventory, managing deliveries, and moving materials.
· Works evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
Supervisory Duties:
· Proactively conducts workforce planning to ensure staffing availability meets service or product demands.
· Communicates with staff on company policy or procedure changes and provides guidance or training when necessary.
· Adapts or develops departmental training materials based on workforce skillset, conducts, or schedules training to meet company goals. Ensures compliance training requirements are met and conducted timely and in accordance with agency requirements

Education:
- Required: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Experience:
- Required: One year of related experience in management.
