Janitorial Manager reports to the Site Manager. Janitorial Manager is responsible for all housekeeping employees on all three shifts. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sanitation regulations and team management abilities.Job Description
- Pay: $50,000-$55,000.
- Schedule: Monday-Friday (7:00am-4:00pm).
- This position requires a minimum of two years of janitorial and supervisory experience.
- Knowledge of Janitorial methods and procedures, materials, chemicals and equipment used in cleaning buildings.
- Knowledge of existing safety laws, rules, methods and procedures including applicable OHSA and its regulations to ensure safety of staff, the public, and building occupants.
- Ability to assign, train, inspect and evaluate the activities of subordinate personnel engaged in janitorial duties.
- Management of assigned personnel: motivating, developing and directing people as they work, identifying areas where further training is required.
- Must be willing to work all 3 shifts.
- Participate in large cleaning projects as required.
- Schedule daily work to meet the needs of the facility.
- Responsible for the ordering of the supplies weekly and staying within a monthly budget.
- Investigate and assist with corrective action on housekeeping issues.
- Daily and weekly safety contact with employees.
