The Operations Manager will oversee operational activity within various locations. The primary responsibility of this roles is to manage staff / locations efficiently in order to achieve company goals and targets.
Job Description:
The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall coordination and supervision of various sites throughout Durham, Greensboro & surrounding areas. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Visiting sites daily to perform quality assurance inspections.
- Helps solve problems that affect the worksite service, efficiency, and productivity.
- Meet with Site Directors / Co-Managers
- Responsibilities include but not limited to managing operations, controlling expenses and payroll budgets, maintaining vendor relationships and managing risk and safety.
- Handle employee issues / time & attendance
- Responsible for the effective and successful management of labor, productivity, quality control and safety measures as established by OSHA.
- Conducts orientation, training and coaching for new employees.
- Develop/Maintain relationships.
- Recruit/Retain employees.
- Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company's policies and applicable laws.
- Manager is a role model and leader and must solve problems, make informed decisions, and manage the workforce and time wisely in order to achieve maximum results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- This position may require some nights & weekends.
This position reports to the Director of Operations. Must have reliable Transportation. (Company car provided after 90 day probation)
- Valid Driver's License; Clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
- 2 years janitorial experience required; at least one year in a management role.
- Great communication skills & Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently.
- Basic technology skills
·Must demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred: Bilingual
