POSITION DESCRIPTION

Yakima Specialties is a non-profit organization employing those with disabilities. Yakima Specialties has an opening for a Janitorial Crew Leader under the Yakima Specialties Janitorial Department. POSITION TITLE: Janitorial Crew Leader

DEPARTMENT: Janitorial

REPORTS TO: Janitorial Supervisor

FLSA STATUS: Non-exempt

STARTING PAY: $18.00 PER HR

HOURS: Monday-Friday 20 HR PER Week

SHIFT: Evenings

Job Duties:

· Lead a team of custodial staff in performing various cleaning and maintenance tasks.

· Ensure that all assigned areas are cleaned and maintained to the highest standards.

· Train and mentor disabled team members on proper cleaning techniques and procedures.

· Coordinate work schedules and assign tasks to crew members.

· Complete all required paperwork per department requirements.

· Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies and equipment.

· Perform regular inspections to ensure quality control and adherence to safety protocols.

· Address any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.

· Collaborate with management to develop and implement new cleaning procedures as needed.

Qualifications Required:

· Driver License

· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

· Ability to lift 50 lbs

· Ability to stand for long periods

· Clean driving record

· Clean background that will allow you to work with vulnerable adults

Qualifications Preferred but not required.

· One to two years of management experience

· Prior experience working with disabled adults.

· Background in janitorial services

· Driver License

· Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 per week
