We are seeking an experienced SOF Posture Subject Matter Expert (SME) to join our team in Tampa, Florida, for the J5 Plans and Integration contract. The SOF Posture SME will play a crucial role in supporting our client's strategic planning efforts and ensuring effective Special Operations Forces (SOF) posture in theater.

*This position is contingent on contract award

Responsibilities:

• Utilize operational experience within a Theater Special Operations Command, with a preference for skills/experience in either J3 or J5 staff roles.
• Provide expertise in SOF posture planning and execution, ensuring readiness and effectiveness in theater operations.
• Optional specializations (one or more areas preferred): 5+ years of experience in SOF, 4+ years at a Combatant Command (CCMD) or Service, JPME II or War College graduate.
• Demonstrate exceptional writing and briefing skills, capable of communicating at the 4-star level command.
• Collaborate with command leadership and stakeholders to develop and assess SOF posture strategies and initiatives.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3 years of operational experience within a Theater Special Operations Command.
• Preference for skills/experience in either J3 or J5 staff roles.
• Optional specializations in SOF, CCMD, or Service roles are highly desirable.
• JPME II or War College graduate is a plus.
• Exceptional writing and briefing skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at the 4-star command level.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and independently as needed.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Active Top Secret (TS) clearance and eligibility for Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access.
• CONUS and OCONUS travel may be required.
