Function: Performs assigned duties and responsibilities of operations and procedures related to the computer operations function.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operates various equipment such as workstations, communications equipment, printers and branch scanners in order to process customer transactions.
Receives and prints a variety of recurring and special reports for processing and distribution to appropriate functional areas within the bank.
Prepare daily statement files to be sent electronically to FOS for printing.
Combine customer statements and images to be burned on a DVD.
Processes and balances inclearing items from various correspondent banks and transmits information to our data processor for posting.
Processes and balances transactions received at branches and transmits information to our data processor for posting.
Sends and receives electronic cash letters via FTP to corresponding clearing houses.
Balance controls to ensure the bank balances on a daily basis.
Maintains equipment in proper condition and assures computer-related supplies are adequately stocked.
Maintains a good working relationship with bank employees. Demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work independently, as well as motivated to work as a team player to contribute to the success of the department and in turn, the organization.
Performs additional duties as required.
Physical Demands
Operates a keypad device: 40% of the day; operates electronic equipment: 55% of the day; operates office equipment: 5% of the day. The primary parts of the body involved in performing these tasks are the fingers, thumbs, hands, wrists, legs, lower and upper torso and feet. The job requires a cycle of body movements to include reaching above the shoulders, one time per minute which is slow in speed; bending and twisting 2 times per minute, which is moderate in speed; standing 50 times per day; sitting 48 times per day; walking 2 times per day, which is moderate in speed. Routinely lifts 15 lb., 20 times per day; maximum lift is 50 lbs., 3 times per day. Requires the use of manual dexterity skills for typing, filing, and data entry on a frequent basis, up to 95% of the business day. Possess the ability to focus visually at a close distance of 18”-20” for a period of up to 85% of the business day. Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, stand, walk, and reach with hand and/or arm throughout the business day. Education
Requires a high school diploma or equivalent basic academic education.
Experience
Up to one year prior general experience required.

Salary Range:
$15.00 - $24.04
