We are seeking an experienced IT Technician to join our team. As an IT Technician, you will be responsible for providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance to our staff. Your role will involve resolving hardware and software issues, setting up and maintaining computer systems, and ensuring the smooth operation of our IT infrastructure.
- Provide technical support to end-users, both in person and remotely
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
- Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and software applications
- Set up user accounts and permissions in Active Directory
- Respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner
- Collaborate with other IT team members to resolve complex technical issues
- Document all support activities and solutions in the ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow)
- Assist with network administration tasks, such as configuring LAN connections
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on servers and workstations
- Conduct system upgrades and software installations as required
To be successful in this role, you should have the following experience:
- Proven experience in a help desk or technical support role
- Strong knowledge of Windows operating systems (Windows 10, Windows Server)
- Familiarity with Active Directory for user account management
- Experience with desktop support and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of networking concepts and LAN/WAN technologies
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
