Pay Range: $18 - $20 p/hr. ($37,440 - $41,600 annualized) plus full benefit package
Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8AM – 4PM. Must be flexible to overtime as needed.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The IT Support Technician will be responsible for working with the IT Manager to maintain and repair hardware and software for Pensacola Habitat for Humanity (PHFH). The IT Support Technician will need to support our systems in person or through remote access as needed. This position will require daily interaction with our staff for troubleshooting workstation issues and to manage monthly IT training. The IT Support Technician will also work to address system needs and provide essential reporting.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Swiftly troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage IT requests through ticketing system.
- Provide ongoing technical assistance with diligence.
- Employ problem-solving skills to enhance existing systems and propose improvements.
- Produce comprehensive reports for internal and cross-functional teams.
- Train users on proper use of hardware and software.
- Document hardware and software changes, revisions, and problems.
- Manage user roles and access permissions.
- Complete other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the department and organization.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
- Proficient computer skills. This will include Windows, MacOS, IOS, Android, Azure, and Office365. Familiarity with CRM is advantageous.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE:
- Must have at least 1-2 years of experience in help desk or IT support. Will look at education in lieu of experience.
- Relevant technical certifications such as A+, SEC+, NET+, CCNA are preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in information systems, computer science, or related degree is preferred.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
This position is primarily performed in an office setting and may require standing, bending, lifting, or sitting for long periods of time. This position requires communicating with the internal staff consistently throughout the day. On occasion, this employee may work offsite and perform other tasks that may require repetitive lifting of up to 50lbs.
This position requires a valid state driver’s license, safe driving record, reliable transportation, and insurability through our vehicle insurance carrier.
