We are looking for a qualified IT Technicianwith thorough knowledge of computer software, hardware, networking, and operating systems. The ideal candidate will have excellent troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.
Responsibilities and Tasks
Resolve our clients issues in an efficient and professional manner.
Setup Workstations with computers and necessary peripheral devices (routers, printers, etc.)
Check computer hardware (HDD, monitors, keyboards/mouses, etc.) to ensure functionality.
Install and configure appropriate software and functions according to specifications.
Ensure security and privacy of networks and computer systems.
Provide guidance to clients on how to operate new software and computer equipment.
Organize and schedule upgrades and maintenance on client systems and networks.
Perform troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve problems.
Maintain records/logs of repairs and fixes through our ticketing system.
Cabling (Install/run, test, and properly label).
Setup/Install networking equipment (Access Points, Firewalls, Network switches, etc.)
Setup and maintain Mobile Device Management for our clients.
Requirements:Ability to solve complex issues with minimal supervision.
Strong understanding of operating systems, business applications, printing systems, and networking systems.
Excellent diagnostic and problem solving skills.
Thorough knowledge of internet security and data privacy principles.
Experience using a ticketing system, RMM tool, and PSA software.
Previous experience working in an MSP environment.
Must have experience working on Apple devices/MacOS.
Experience running and troubleshooting cabling.
Advanced knowledge of working with the Microsoft 365 Platform.
Strong knowledge of server management.
Mobile Device Management experience.
Compliance experience would be an advantage (CMMC, NIST 800-171, PCI, HIPPA).
