Position Overview:
The person in this role will be responsible for effective provisioning, configuration, operation, and maintenance of network, server, and IT systems hardware and software for Dutch Bros. Coffee. This individual will participate in technical research and development to enable continual innovation within the infrastructure. They will ensure that systems hardware, operating systems, software systems, and related procedures comply with our security standards and are optimized to allow the business teams to perform their duties uninhibited. They will be self-driven, motivated, and exhibit impeccable work ethic even in a lively work environment. This position will require rotated 24/7 on-call and after-hours/weekend work as needed. Travel time required to remote locations inside and outside of Oregon (as needed).
Job Qualifications:
Required qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years demonstrating increased responsibilities configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting IT infrastructure on an enterprise scale:
  
  • 3 years experience administering Windows Server, Linux, network, and IT systems in a corporate environment
  • 2 years experience administering Microsoft Azure and AWS cloud platform services and technologies
• Advanced understanding of Microsoft Server 2016 and later: AD, DHCP, DNS, Group Policy, etc.
• Advanced understanding of the OSI model and networking best practices: routing, switching, VLANs, Spanning-Tree, DMZ,

QoS, VPN

• Advanced proficiency in troubleshooting network/systems issues and providing solutions
• Proven ability to learn and support new hardware, software, infrastructure services, and apply innovative business

Solutions

• Strong documentation habits: Change control, ticketing, project status, process and procedure, topology maps, training guides, etc
• Ability to effectively communicate complex I.T. concepts simplistically
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment

Preferred qualifications:

• Certifications: Server: Microsoft, VMware | Network: Cisco, CompTIA | Cloud: Azure, AWS
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Technology
• Advanced proficiency with PowerShell, Batch, or other scripting languages

Location Requirement:

• This position is based in Phoenix, AZ

Key Result Areas:
Respond to assigned infrastructure tickets within 24 hours:

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues relating to network, server, storage, and other infrastructure services
• Install, upgrade, and proactively maintain hardware, software, and other infrastructure services
• Manage access control based on company policies
• Develop technical processes and procedures using advanced knowledge of industry best practices
• Work within the Dutch Bros community to promote excellent customer service, effective response times, and provide technical subject matter expertise in the area of responsibility

Ensure all network standards are met and respond to critical systems alarm(s) within an hour:

• Troubleshoot and resolves advanced technical issues
• Independently evaluate infrastructure and make changes to improve and maintain efficiency
• Make recommendations for future upgrades
• Monitor networks and systems to ensure availability and performance
• Maintain network and system security
• Participate in rotated 24/7 on-call and after hours/weekend work

Implement infrastructure initiatives and provide guidance to IT team members:

• Provides guidance to IT Systems Administration team members relating to incidents, systems configurations, upgrades, processes, and procedures
• Supports team members by providing technical mentorship in area of subject matter expertise
• Provides training to technical staff on new and existing IT infrastructure systems
• Continuous learning of new and existing technologies
• Documents work: create and maintain topology diagrams, change control, worklogs, statuses, and notes

Compensation:
$95,262.35 - $110,435.17
