It Support Technician

IT Support Technician
LetsGetChecked is seeking a Level 2 IT Support Technician with a minimum 3 years experience to join our team in New York. The successful candidate will provide technical support to end-users across the organization on site, and remote and be responsible for the maintenance, troubleshooting, and administration of our IT systems.
This is a hybrid position.
Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support to end-users via phone, email, or in-person
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and printers
• Install and configure software and hardware, including operating systems and business applications
• Monitor and maintain the company's network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Perform system backups and disaster recovery operations
• Administer user accounts, permissions, and access rights using JumpCloud
• Manage Meraki wireless and security appliances, including access points, switches, and security cameras
• Ensure compliance with IT security policies and procedures
• Document IT processes and procedures

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or at least 3 years experience in a service desk support role
• Strong knowledge of Meraki and networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Experience with JumpCloud or similar cloud-based identity and access management systems
• Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Windows, MacOS and Google Workspace essential
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Jira service desk or equivalent experience
• Slack experience
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Desirable knowledge in Crowdstrike, Confluence, asset control, TeamViewer remote control.
The base annual salary range for this position is $62,000 - $72,000.
