Qualifications
Basic Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship Required: Due to the nature of our contracts, candidates must be U.S. citizens.
- Federal Background Check: Security clearance is essential for this role.
- Associate’s Degree in IT or Related Field: can be substituted with experience.
- 2+ Years of Experience in IT: We require a seasoned professional capable of overseeing complex IT operations.
- Customer Service: Maintains a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Technical Skills
- AWS GovCloud: Familiarity with cloud infrastructure.
- Microsoft 365 Administration: Familiarity in managing Microsoft 365 applications and services.
- Active Directory: Familiarity in managing user permissions and security settings.
- Network Infrastructure: Familiarity with Fortigate and Cisco systems.
- Firewall Configuration: Ability to set up and manage firewall rules.
- Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose and resolve technical problems efficiently.
Compliance and Security
- NIST 800-171 and HIPAA Compliance: Understanding of compliance requirements and ability to implement them.
- Vulnerability Detection and Response: Skill in identifying and addressing system vulnerabilities.
- Incident Response: Experience in managing and mitigating security incidents.
Responsibilities
Infrastructure
- AWS GovCloud: Maintain cloud infrastructure for optimal performance and security.
- Microsoft 365 and Active Directory: Manage these platforms to ensure operational efficiency.
- Network Management: Maintain FortiGate and Cisco systems for network reliability.
- Firewall Rules: Configure and maintain firewall rules to protect the network.
Project and Team Leadership
- Project Execution: Participate in and lead IT projects aimed at system improvement.
- Team Management: Provide strong leadership and direction to the IT department.
- Government Coordination: Interface with government client IT teams for project alignment and compliance checks.
Security and Compliance
- Data Security: Implement security protocols to protect sensitive data.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure IT operations align with NIST 800-171 and HIPAA regulations.
- Asset Management: Oversee IT asset inventory and compliance.
- Incident Response: Lead or participate in response actions for security incidents.
Helpdesk
- Delivers customer support to address operational concerns as they emerge.
- Collaborates in the call center, aiding users with operational tasks.
- Directs issues to management when necessary.
- Records and follows up on IT and communication issues to ensure swift resolution.
- Possesses in-depth knowledge of systems and procedures, actively seeking to expand expertise through training and project involvement.
- Educates users on new applications provided by the company and offers application troubleshooting support.
- Facilitates user account setup.
- Supports the creation of documentation, instructional guides, and procedural outlines.
