Overview:
Southern Air is seeking an Entry-Level IT Support Specialist to join our IT team.
The successful candidate will provide technical support and assistance to our employees, resolve hardware and software issues, and ensure that our IT systems are functioning optimally from our location here in Pineville LA.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, or email
- Diagnose and resolve technical hardware and software issues
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware and software systems
- Assist with network administration and security
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data is secure
- Document technical processes and procedures
- Provide training and support to end-users
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends
- Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows and MacOS
- Knowledge of networking protocols and technologies
- Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Experience with help desk software and ticketing systems is a plus
- IT related certifications preferred but not required
