IT Support Administrator
Job Description
Position Summary:
This role will be responsible for supporting general and manufacturing related IT functions within Uniloy's Michigan facility as well as our growing global footprint. The IT team is responsible for: deploying, managing, and supporting Windows-based assets to end-users; supporting engineering assets, software, and infrastructure; keeping the ERP solution running and optimized; supporting the plant IT assets to ensure production operations. All functional areas will include efforts involving continuity and security. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills touching upon all areas - and otherwise be willing to learn any skills necessary to get the job done.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Primary/Required – A candidate must be able to demonstrate skills in these areas:
· General IT Support
o Windows user asset support – setup, deployment, maintenance
o MS365 administration (Office, Teams, OneDrive, etc.)
o Azure/Windows server/AD administration (basic familiarity)
o PowerShell and automation methods preferred
o Phones (mobile & desk) - user devices and administration
o Printer support
· Networking Support
o Physical networking – cabling, switches, Wi-Fi administration
o VPN user management
o Print server administration
o File transfer solutions
· Basic User Security
o Endpoint security
o Phishing response
o User Asset patching and hardening
Secondary/Preferred – A candidate should have some of the following skills or clear ability to learn them:
· Engineering IT Support
o Assist with licensing, installation, and support for:
§ CAD/CAM/CAE support (Creo and SolidWorks preferred)
§ PDM management (Windchill preferred)
o Other engineering software and hardware needs
· Manufacturing Plant IT Operations
o Ensure plant systems are online and operational from an IT perspective, including:
§ PC/CNC support
§ Networking
§ Monitoring tools (e.g. Amper)
§ Fast response/replacement planning
· ERP Administration (Epicor preferred)
o General user access and system management across ERP functions
o Basic user training and support
o Development (BAQ, dashboard, general customization) preferred.
Other skills that could be leveraged:
· SQL/SQL Server (other DB) development/administration
· Web development and support
· VMWare, GitHub, Security tools
· Other development skills

Minimum Qualifications:
· 4+ years’ experience in IT support in a Windows environment.
· 2+ years’ experience supporting IT in a manufacturing environment preferred.
· Experience supporting manufacturing engineering teams/assets preferred.
· Experience supporting ERP (Epicor specifically) in some capacity preferred.
- Good knowledge of networking concepts and technologies.
- Solid understanding of user and asset security.
- Solid communication and documentation skills.
- Desire and ability to organize and automate.
- Ability to work within time-constrained periods.
- Ability to coordinate with other professionals as and when needed.
- Ability to manage and execute tasks in a timely manner.
- Ability to prepare written and oral reports effectively.
- Good arithmetic and communication skills.
Work Environment:
Office / Manufacturing environment. Employee may be occasionally exposed to moving equipment, mechanical parts in motion, risk of shock and other hazards associated with a manufacturing environment such as overhead cranes, welding, machining, painting etc.
This is an on-site, office-based position that requires walking, sitting, standing, bending, driving, reading, seeing, hearing, speaking, concentrating, and communicating.
This role works standard eastern time hours daily, but may require occasional afterhours support or activities, and must be available for critical issue resolution at all hours.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $62,000.00 - $101,000.00 per year
