This position is located at Departmental Offices,Domestic Finance-Office of Financial Research. As a/an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN), you will have expert level skills to provide complex day-to-day planning, coordination, analytical techniques, business processes improvement, procurement management and resolution of technical and operational issues.
DutiesAs a/an IT SPECIALIST (PLCYPLN), you will:
- Develop acquisition strategies and plans.
- Develop, revise, and maintain strategic plans for innovative or unique IT systems and support.
- Maintain contract databases.
- Assess policy needs and develop policies to govern complex, multi-functional IT activities.
- Prepare IT complex budget requests and associated documentation.

SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: For the OR-60, you must have one year of specialized experience at a level of difficulty and responsibility equivalent to the OR-53 grade level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for this position includes:
- Experience developing and maintaining Federal Enterprise Architecture Framework (FEAF), Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), or The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) compliant architecture artifacts; AND
- Hands-on experience developing processes using Business Process Model and Notation; AND
- Experience developing and maintaining detailed plans to meet IT COOP/DR requirements per Federal Continuity Directives, including plans for data, backups, storage management, pandemic, reconstitution, and contingency operations documents that provide procedures for recovering systems within established recovery requirements time frames; AND
- Experience with Technology reporting including compliance, data calls, and metrics using Splunk, Tableau, ServiceNow and Varonis; AND
- Experience leading an enterprise change management including planning, development, and communication.
