Job Description Summary:
The IT Operations Intern is a summer-only role that is responsible for assisting the department with day-to-day technical support. Specific areas include: gaining experience in hardware/software troubleshooting, QA testing, problem-solving, and technical communication. Job Description:
Job Responsibilities
- Review, troubleshoot, and respond to support tickets through our internal help desk application.
- Interact with technology vendors through project management applications, Slack, and email acting as a liaison.
- Provide software and hardware support for IT systems including network equipment, laptops, desktop applications and mobile apps.
- Support the operation and maintenance of Pine Cove's Audio/Visual equipment and technology in various venues.
- Responsible for other tasks as directed by the IT Operations team or other full-time staff.
Job Requirments
- Currently enrolled in college and working on a degree in a Computer Science-related field
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a related field
- Able to receive and carefully follow instructions and exercise precise attention to detail
- Continuously learns new technical skills, tools, coding languages, platforms, and services through self-directed research and training
- Communicates clearly and professionally with team members, co-workers, and users verbally and in written form
- Agrees with and exhibits behaviors in accordance with the Pine Cove Statement of Faith
- Maintain compliance with all Pine Cove policies and procedures during employment including the Staff Policy Handbook
- Maintain compliance with all state and federal laws
- Must establish and maintain professional working relationships with employees, managers, and external constituents, including demonstrating consistent Speed of Trust behaviors
- Is self-motivated with a desire to serve and do all things with excellence
- Adjusts to changes in environment or schedule while maintaining a joyful attitude
- Possess current driver's license and able to drive company vehicles as needed
