IT Manager Job Description

The position is responsible for managing all IT functions company wide. Develops and implements the IT Strategic Plan and budget.

Responsibilities

• Support and maintain the network infrastructure by servicing all servers, workstations, printers, networking hardware, telephones, building music and scanners and copiers.
• Employee help desk and support.
• Understand and maintain physical layer networking infrastructure.
• Acquisition and maintenance of software licensing, patching and renewal contracts.
• Understand the evolving threat trends and apply the physical, hardware and software tools to minimize external threats to the organizations broad range of data.
• Managing consulting contractor engagements, scope of work.
• Develop and execute IT project management schedules. Understanding of analog, VoIP and Video Conferencing telephone systems.
• Assist Sr management to develop a five-year plan of operation.
• Create and oversee Informational Policies and procedures manual.
• Review expenditures with CFO and code and approval of all department expenditures.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Ability:

• Bachelor’s Degree in computer sciences OR several years’ experience working in or administering IT department.

Knowledge of:

• All standard Windows applications used in the organization, Cloud computing, Microsoft Networking, Microsoft SQL and database experience.
• All standard antivirus, malware, firewall and intrusion detection techniques to quickly identify and secure and patch as needed.
• Backup and restoration experience with on premises and cloud architecture.
• Expertise in all computer hardware troubleshooting and replacement.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
