It Manager, Kahua / Primavera Construction Management Software

Our client is an established, privately held, growing, New York-area government contractor. Our client’s focus is in providing Information Technology (IT) Services to city, state and federal government clients. We are currently seeking an experienced IT Manager, Kahua / Primavera Construction Management Software to work in a full-time role onsite at a client location in Manhattan, New York City.

Reporting to the IT Director, the position is responsible for managing the implementation, support, upgrades and enhancements of Kahua Construction Software to replace the organization's current Primavera Contract Management software. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of relevant IT experience with Kahua and Primavera Construction Software platforms, have excellent IT technical knowledge, effective influencing and communication skills, and an understanding of construction software user needs..

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Manage the implementation of Kahua Construction software to replace Primavera Contract Management software. Provide ongoing support, upgrades and enhancements for the platform post-implementation.
• Partner closely with Project Management, Finance and Architecture & Engineering departments to define user requirement and understand all interfaces.
• Prototype and manage the testing and deployment of software and system interfaces.
• Ensure that the Kahua software is configured properly and that all business requirements are successfully met.
• Implement new client requirements and customizations.
• Maintain and support Primavera Contract Management during the transition and work to transition any legacy features.
• .Consistently engage with the client to maintaining relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Construction, or closely related field. Additional IT certifications and training desirable.
• 5+ years of relevant IT experience implementing, managing and supporting Kahua and Primavera construction software. Prior experience working with construction clients and understanding their user needs and requirements..
• Demonstrated relationship-management skills.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with clients, team members, technical staff, and management. Able to interface, communicate and maintain effective relationships with team members and all levels of management on an ongoing basis and work as a trusted IT professional.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) for use in communication, analysis & tracking.
• Understanding of various technologies used in Construction industry..

• Must be able to pass a required background check and/or security clearance to work on government projects.

POSITION LOCATION:
Office-based role in New York, NY. Must be able to commute daily into New York City.

RELOCATION ELIGIBILITY:
No relocation assistance provided. Local, qualified New York City metro area candidates will be given preference and priority. Qualified candidates willing to self-relocate to the New York City metro area will also be considered.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS INFORMATION:

• Base Salary Range: $90,000 - $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications
