Internships available in Data, Security and Analytics
SUMMARY:
The IT Intern will work closely with data science, dev ops and data engineering teams on analytics projects especially in developing and maintaining an in-house platform for machine model deployment, integration and monitoring. This internship is a great opportunity to work with a professional team helping to solve a variety of analytics-based business problems and gain practical coding experience.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Internship assignments include architecting, testing and maintaining automated build/deploy pipelines (CI/CD).
- Projects could include packaging and deployment of production ready machine learning models and associated web apps into a cloud environment.
- Packaging python and java-based applications using Docker and deployment using Kubernetes.
- Working with front end developer teams to integrate models within the Azure cloud platform.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
Qualified candidates are currently working on a bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and have an interest in working in the data science field.
Must have the ability to work independently and solve problems.
COMPUTER SKILLS
Experience coding in Java, C++ and/or Python.
Experience with windows shell scripting is preferred.
