The Manager of the Infrastructure team is responsible for the delivery of all IT infrastructure and related IT operations used to enable business capabilities and services across the corporate structure.
Job Description:
- Provide a secure, scalable, and extensible environment for the continuous operation of our global infrastructure & applications
- Build and manage a team capable of executing the tactics for Infrastructure & Operations, and efficiently delivering new IT Infrastructure solutions; Leading teams responsible for servers, storage, database, data centers, and cloud platforms
- Provides strategic direction and oversight for the full life cycle of design, development, operation and support of IT systems.
- Provide executive level reporting to inform decision making
- Supports the development of the annual Infrastructure Operations budget to ensure that it's consistent with the overall strategic objectives of IT and the enterprise
- Serves on IT planning and policymaking committees; drives the development of enterprise technology standards, governance processes and performance metrics
- Responsible for mentorship, maintaining a culture of growth
- Works with HR and the IT leadership team to develop and execute workforce plans
Requirements:
- A clear understanding of client/server technology and network architecture
- Solid understanding of cloud deployment and operations
- 5+ years of management experience, both technical and personnel
- Vendor management expertise
- Demonstrated experience of influencing key stakeholders across the organization and within complex contexts
- Skilled at building relationships with external providers / partners, internal stakeholders and team
- A passion for innovation and improving organization performance through the application of emerging technologies and practices
