Job Description
We are seeking an IT Help Desk Technician to join our team!
Job Responsibilities include:
- Provide first-line technical support to end-users - document hardware and software issues, communicate with IT team, assist with resolution (escalating as necessary).
- Assist with onboarding procedures for new employees, ensuring they have the necessary equipment, accounts, and access.
- Assist with offboarding procedures, when needed - collect equipment, archive data, prep for reissue.
- Assist with software deployments - install/configure/update software applications on desktops and laptops.
- Help set up new computers and hardware peripherals.
- Assist users with new hardware or workspace changes - change out monitors, install monitor mounts, move PC equipment to different desks, swap out PCs for a laptop/dock, etc.
- Assist with other hardware upgrades and maintenance as needed.
Required Skills:
• Excellent people skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong troubleshooting skills, including network connectivity and common web browser issues
• 2 years of experience in a similar role in a corporate environment supporting 50+ users
• Strong knowledge of Office 365
• A team player, following direction and asking for help as needed
