About the role: We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our IT support team as a Help Desk Specialist. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving technical issues and providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries through phone, email, and chat, providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance
- Log and track customer issues using a ticketing system
- Resolve technical problems, diagnose and fix software and hardware issues
- Provide first-line support for basic technical issues, escalating more complex problems to higher-level teams as necessary
- Update customer accounts and databases with accurate information and status updates
- Contribute to the development of IT policies, procedures, and best practices
- Continuously improve technical knowledge and customer service skills\
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience in a Help Desk or technical support role
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems effectively
- Knowledge of common software, hardware, and operating systems
- Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
- Basic understanding of networking concepts and technologies
