Essential Functions
The primary responsibility of this position involves traveling to washing facilities in Toledo, Cleveland, and Detroit. Additionally, there will be a secondary focus on assisting with IT-related requirements for our washes in Dayton, Columbus, and Pittsburgh marketsThis involves verifying that all communication functions at EWC's facilities are functioning according to design, conducting repairs, assessing potential risks, and enhancing overall system performance.
- Ensure the reliability of wash communication systems supporting wash quality and customer experience.
- Plan, coordinate, perform, and document Field IT service request activities.
- Provide 24/7 emergency response.
- Consult with the team on priorities, troubleshooting, and requesting assistance.
- Coordinate with vendors and third parties for hardware configurations (POS systems, servers, switches, routers, phones, etc.).
- Manage endpoint users, including troubleshooting and on/offboarding processes.
- Install and troubleshoot Windows-based PCs, routers, switches, access points, and peripherals.
- Execute tasks related to CAT5/6 data cables, including pulling, installing, terminating, testing, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with the local Internet Service Provider (ISP) for setup, installation, and resolution of internet/phone issues.
- Configure and install Digital Signage, TVs, printers, cameras, NVRs, POS systems, and other connected peripherals.
- Complete special projects assigned by the supervisor.
- Manage IT inventory, source parts, and handle ordering.
- Adhere to safety procedures while performing the duties of the position.
Job requirements:
- Two years of prior IT experience in a similar role, encompassing system setup and troubleshooting.
- Possession of an Associates Degree in Computer Science or relevant certifications.
- Full-time position with a flexible five-day schedule; weekends may be required.
- Must hold a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
- Effective communication skills across the organization in a professional manner.
- Proficient in tracking hours and activities, and knowledgeable in credit card accounting procedures.
- Comfortable working outdoors, involving frequent day trips with possible overnight stays.
- Field Tech skills and abilities include using hand and power tools, climbing, crawling, crouching, feeling, grasping, hearing, seeing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, reaching, and handling loads of up to 40 lbs.
