IT Director (Encino, CA)

We are a fast paced insurance / healthcare organization that is currently seeking an IT Director.

Role:

The IT Director is accountable for leading the information and data integrity of the company and its groups, and for all the information technology functions of the enterprise. This includes managing all computer system operations, help desks, data centers, production scheduling functions, computer program development, technical service centers, computer system operations and communication networks (including voice and data).

Duties and Responsibilities:

- The primary duty of the IT Director is to manage the strategic direction of the company's IT department.
- Develop new IT strategies to execute for the benefit of the company.
- Responsible for data security and overall safety of the company infrastructure .
- Ensure that the best hardware, software and other computer devices are being used. This also includes developing the new IT strategies by keeping the budget of the company in mind.
- Properly test and check all IT solutions before implementing.
- Monitor the work of the IT team to ensure they are working as per the company's requirements.
- Collaborate with engineers and team members to build and maintain internal/external network, identify and develop scalable network designs, solutions and best practices.
- Providing expert IT recommendations on applications and services for company use and deployment.
- Ensure deployment and operational integrity of the network infrastructure by following established best practices.
- Determining the root causes of operating errors and providing resolution.
- Experience in deploying and operating an enterprise network within several branches.
- Tracking clientele problems and solving them in the least possible time.
- Flexible schedule to assist in IT implementations and maintenance, after hours or on-call.

Education:

• Minimum Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Hardware or Software, Information Technology or related field required.
• At least 5 years of experience in the related fields.
• Experience with Project Management (PMI) or (PMBOK) is a plus
• Cloud based Windows environment
• Experience with VoIP phone systems
• IT experience with a healthcare company is a plus

Compensation: Salary is negotiable, commensurate with experience

Salary: $70,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
