The IT Director will oversees the development, execution, support, and evaluation of a robust and comprehensive information technology (IT) system. In partnership with senior leadership and departments, help them effectively utilize the applications of technology within their respective areas of responsibility.

Essential Duties:
- Responsible for maintaining technology operations to include systems administration, network management, telecommunications management, system and data security, system and data backup and emergency recovery plans.
- Manage servers both physical (HP/Dell) and virtual servers using VMware
- Manage all wired and wireless network hardware and UPS’s to ensure LAN / WAN and WLAN is operating optimally.
- Manage security solutions, including firewall and endpoint device security.
- Administers Windows based security, including but not limited to: user / group permissions, file / folder permissions, and group policies
- Administration of Google Workspace accounts
- Administers and manages different cloud base tools, including but not limited to data import, export using a GUI or API.
- Oversees and manages day to day operations of the Technology Department, including but not limited to things such as help desk and AV support.
- Oversees the management of a fleet of devices using an MDM solution
- Administers and manages different emergency notification systems, including but not limited to cloud service using Blackboard Connect or on-premise PA systems.
Top Requirements
- Working CLI experience with Cisco IOS and Cisco NX-OS or quickly learn NX-OS
- Working experience with Cisco Wireless Controller or equivalent
- Experience in administering Windows Servers such as file, Active Directory, DNS and DHCP server.
- Experience in administering and managing Ubuntu servers
- Experience with AWS EC2, S3, and VPC
- Strong understanding of Wi-Fi principles such as adjacent / co-channel interference; channel optimization in a multi floor environment
- Solid knowledge and experience with network concepts such as VLANs, 802.1Q, QoS, Policy-Based Routing (PBR).
- Solid understanding of SAN using PureStorage and NetApp as building blocks in a virtual environment.
- Experience with an MDM solution such as Meraki Systems Manager or equivalent
- Experience with SentinelOne or equivalent for endpoint security.
