CSA is currently seeking a temporary Information Technology (IT) Generalist to support the Cybersecurity department Surge effort under Naval Sea Command (NAVSEA), located at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard in Portsmouth, VA. The successful candidate should be technical, customer service oriented, and enthusiastic with respect to the nature of work.
The period of performance for this role is April 15-May 31 2024.
How Your Role Will Make an Impact:
- Demonstrate basic knowledge in the fundamentals of Data Entry using browser-based web applications.
- Supports Data Entry, analysis and activities that enable automated testing and web applications.
- Supports additional Data Entry and data analysis projects including collecting and preparing analytical data to support the department's Surge effort.
- Creates and/or modifies all types of ticketing system records.
- Provide occasional administrative support.
- Provide Data Entry support across departments on an ad-hoc basis.
- Review data for errors or redundancies, make corrections, and check outputs.
What You Will Need to Join Our Award-Winning Team:
- Minimum of one (1) year of Data Entry experience
- HS Diploma
- Knowledge of computers and trouble ticket systems
- Proven customer service and communication skills
- Clearance: Active Secret clearance required
- Ability to work 100% onsite
