IT Controller

TASKS

• You are the central point of contact for all aspects of the global IT budgeting process including planning, forecasting and monthly reporting and report directly to the Global Head of IT
• You are responsible for the commercial controlling of IT supplier and IT outsourcing contracts
• To ensure IT's competitiveness, conduct an annual TCO analysis and compare IT costs with benchmark companies
• You will also create business cases for planned IT investments and question the underlying assumptions
• With your controlling know-how, you support colleagues from other IT teams in controlling operating costs and estimating the financial impact for upgrade, remodeling and improvement projects
• You support the IT-side implementation of new controlling requirements
• The ongoing implementation of budget reviews, including variance and ad hoc analyses, completes your task profile

QUALIFICATIONS

• You have a degree in business administration, ideally with a specialization in IT
• You have at least 5 years of professional experience in controlling or financial reporting
• You have experience with outsourcing contracts and the assessment of financial consequences
• You are familiar with IT processes and IT business management and have an affinity for trends and developments in the IT sector
• You have excellent analytical and technical skills and are confident in dealing with MS Excel, SAP CO and SAP BW
• You are well versed in the application of methods and processes for financial control (planning, financial KPI analysis, value-based management, cash flow, IFRS)
• You can communicate confidently and effectively to be able to act successfully on a global level
• You are experienced with and enjoy working in an international team
• You are goal-oriented and result-oriented
