Job Description
Serve as a liaison between external and internal customers and functional IT departments during the all phases of project delivery. Following BA principles and accepted methodologies, document the client business requirements and translating these requirements into structured tasks for other internal functional teams to perform. Have responsibility to manage multiple assigned projects in support of Healthcare clients. Monitor critical task delivery milestones and communicate progress and escalate blocker issues as needed to keep deliverables on track. Follow established departmental SOPs, best practices to achieve quality work output.
Responsibilities
Business Requirements
- Participate and assist Sr. level Business Analysts in facilitating meetings with customers to understand business needs and identify the best solution.
- Using multiple information gathering techniques, assist in conducting facilitated sessions with customers to define detailed business requirements for solution development.
- Assist in developing precise documentation of prioritized functional requirements.
- Translate requirements and use cases in clear and concise written form for handoff to other functional areas for work execution. Ensure that requirements are understood using written and verbal communication methods.
- Review client business requirements against client supplied data to determine output requirements are valid. Help create test plans and participate in testing and QA to validate programmed results match business requirements.
- Accurately prioritize problems based on severity, urgency and impact to the business. Track all outstanding incidents until successful resolution.
Task & Time Management
- Must create organized work aids to track and manage critical daily and weekly tasks for self management. Must follow established task milestones for in support of client and team deliverables.
- Provide support via telephone/email using corporate toolset for logging and tracking customer interactions.
- May be required to provide evening and weekend support to HealthCare clients during healthcare peak season.
Other
- Work with established Enterprise solutions in support of Healthcare clients.
- Manage project tasks to achieve designated milestones and timelines. Escalate issues and blockers to Senior team members when needed.
- Offer excellent customer service and promote this culture within the team.
- Performs other related duties and participates in special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in discipline related to functional work or role with up to 3 years of relevant work experience OR demonstrated ability to meet the job requirements through a comparable number of years of applicable work experience.
- Nice to have - Additional desired skills are needed, but on the job training will be offered – Adobe Professional, HTML coding, MS Access, PDF Comparison tools, Desktop publishing tools such as InDesign, Google Tools (e.g. Google Docs, Google Drive, Google Meets).
- Familiarity with Print Industry and Healthcare terminology is a plus.
- Able to demonstrate good problem-solving skills and appropriately apply proven solutions. Consistently deliver prescribed outcomes in a timely and accurate manner with appropriate guidance. Apply existing processes and procedures to solve problems and may receive guidance for problems that are non-routine.
- Required - Intermediate to Expert knowledge and use of desktop software such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Required - Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
Additional Information
The national pay range for this role is $51,900 to $91,500 / year. The pay range may be slightly lower or higher based on the geographic location of the hired employee. The actual pay offered may vary based upon, but not limited to: education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift and location. In addition to base salary, depending on the role, the total compensation package may also include participation in a bonus, commission or incentive program.
