Qualifications and Job Summary:
The Information Systems Security Manager (ISSM) roles and responsibilities include website lifecycle management and overall system management. Tasks will include management and operation of software to support eLearning websites, data exchanges, content publication, website usage, and cloud storage requirements. The candidate will be expected to design and monitor complex systems on three different networks, collaborate with ISSO/System Administrators using critical thinking skills to support network functionality, plan for the installation of new/modified software, operating systems and applications and resolve hardware/software interface/interoperability issues. The candidate will be responsible for installing, configuring, and maintaining system software, performing configuration updates, operating and maintaining systems, troubleshoot and maintain servers and analyze issues that hamper system performance. Furthermore, the candidate will write and modify scripts, take accountability for changing content of the files while ensuring proper security protocols are executed and enforced. The candidate may be required to perform feasibility studies on complex information systems and conduct in-depth analysis of various IT problem sets.
Required Qualifications
IAM Level II
15+ years of relevant experience. (10 years with a Masters)
Ability to work independently as required or in concert with ISSO/ISSM
Ability to work from home 75% and be on-site at Lackland AFB 25%. (Candidates must be local to the San Antonio area). **Schedule subject to change).
Demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the labor category activities required to meet mission requirements.
Demonstrates mastery of qualitative and quantitative analytic methodologies and pursue developments in academia or other fields that affect tradecraft methodology. Demonstrates ability to define comprehensive, new, or unique research approaches that enable rigorous assessments to address and contribute to high-level tasks.
Demonstrates in-depth analysis of analytic operations and knowledge management issues across organizational and intra-IC boundaries and clearly articulates key findings.
Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight.
Demonstrates ability to review analytic products for cogent arguments, tradecraft standards, and adequate support for conclusions; routinely tests analytic rigor of analytic products.
Required Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience related to the specific labor category with at least a portion of the experience within the last 2 years.
Required Education: Masters degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education; or have bachelors degree from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education and an additional 5 years of related senior experience, for a total of 15 years, as a substitute to the masters degree.
Desired Qualifications
Experience with Amazon Web Services/ LightSail and web technologies (HTML5, CSS)
Experience with Linux, Apache, MySQL and/or PHP (LAMP)
Experience with WordPress
Experience with JavaScript
