The Opportunity:
To achieve an organization’s mission, leaders need strong team members who can provide direct execution, strategic, and administration support to the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H) Investor Catalyst (IC) Hub. This position will support the launch and operation of an IC Hub, and oversight and execution of the first tranche of projects executed by the network.
As part of our team, you'll serve as a strategic technical consultant to ARPA-H, helping conceptualize, create, and execute advanced government-funded research and development programs to accelerate better health outcomes for everyone. You’ll leverage technical expertise to provide strategic assessments of new technologies in support to senior ARPA-H decision makers. Maintain responsibility for producing and presenting findings and recommendations to a team of colleagues and clients on the feasibility and potential impact of future research programs, assisting with the management of current programs, and facilitating commercialization of successfully developed technologies.
You'll serve as an IC Operations Consultant, helping clients to establish new business processes and complete design research and analysis to determine viable solutions. You will be responsible for managing incoming requirements, facilitating engagements within offices and across the Agency, and be readily available to shift your focus to fulfill emerging client requests. Your attention to detail, flexibility, communication skills, understanding of the client's mission, and problem-solving will enable the mission's success.
What You’ll Work On:
- Engage with the Consortium Management Firm to develop and implement workplans
- Support the Federal Lead in developing, tracking, and applying success metrics at the network and project level, from design of new projects or partnerships to long-term visioning
- Execute on range of hub-and-spoke network and project implementation tasks, including helping develop workplan outlines, review deliverables from hubs or spokes, compile meeting agendas, document meeting outcomes, and create email templates
- Coordinate support for PM-initiated projects and efforts
- Assist the development and coordination of Immersive Experiences
- Develop and improve processes for Hub Execution
- Provide administrative support in scheduling meetings, managing logistics, and drafting follow-up emails

You Have:
- 4+ years of experience with health sciences, medical technology, or biomedical research
- Experience working as a junior program or project manager
- Experience with ARPA
- Knowledge of Consortium Management Firms
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Technology

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $73,100.00 to $166,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
