In this position as the Securities Division's Investigative Support Specialist, you will assist in an array of confidential and complex criminal, civil and administrative investigations related to securities fraud as directed by the Chief of Enforcement. You will provide investigative and administrative support for the Enforcement section.
Telework is not available during training (estimated 6-9 months), then 2-3 days of teleworking will be approved if eligibility requirements are met.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES
Principal duties include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Responding to incoming questions and complaints: providing information, explaining policy and procedures;
- Assist in conducting investigations into allegations of securities law and related criminal code violations;
- Gathering, researching, reviewing, and analyzing information;
- Performing data entry and analysis;
- Evaluating investigative practices and policies for improved efficiency;
- Creating investigative reports and tracking enforcement actions;
- Coordinate multi-state enforcement activities;
- Monitors active litigation due dates;
- Participate and aide in trial preparations and litigation support;
- Provide administrative support; and
- Manage cooperative relationships with State, local, and private agencies.

- Experience in the fields of government, administrative assistance, securities, courts and criminal justice;
- Experience reviewing policies and practices for efficiency and making improvements;
- Professional writing skills;
- Experience reading and applying regulations; and
- The ability to speak Spanish, in addition to English.
