Job Description:
The RISE Home Use Support Specialist will work with Director and staff to ensure successful customer service support of Home Use Reading Development Product, Center and fulfill additional RISE administrative needs. Responsibilities include, becoming familiar with and understanding the Home Use Educational Products, customer service and phone support, email support, responding timely to questions and requests for information. Candidates must have good phone skills, good written communication skills, and maintain a positive demeanor, while working through customers' questions and problems. The role will also include some general administrative responsibilities, as assigned. The position requires the candidate to work autonomously and be comfortable working at times with minimal co-worker interaction. The work will be performed at the organization’s headquarters in Kaysville, Utah. The Candidate will meet regularly with organization Directors and attend team meetings as needed. The position is part-time and is not eligible for health benefits or paid time off.
Job Responsibilities:
The following is a list of responsibilities for the Literacy Centerand Home Use Support Specialist:
- Answer incoming Home Use Support phone calls
- Answer incoming Literacy Center calls
- Respond to Home Use support emails
- Call back Home Use support voice mails
- Respond to basic technology questions regarding Home Use product software
- Understanding of or willingness to learn basic business softwares (Word, Excel, Google Sheets, etc)
Job Qualifications:
This position requires computer work, reading of printed and digital documents, answering or initiating telephone sales, support and service calls and the need to attend onsite and offsite meetings. High school graduate preferred. Great part time or college student job.
Additional Info:
This position is part time (4hrs Mon-TH, 6-8hrs Fri) and covers the morning shift (8am-12am (2pm on Fri)).
