Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain accurate inventory levels for all products within the organization.
Utilize supply chain knowledge to forecast demand and ensure optimal inventory levels.
- Maintain a thorough understanding and implementation of the safety and security needs of a gas station
- Utilize a system to track and manage inventory transactions.
- Negotiate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of inventory items.
- Excellent customer service skills
- Operate the cash register and bag items
- Maintains overall cleanliness of the location
- Performing opening and closing procedures
- Check-in inventory deliveries and effectively communicate with vendors
- Stocks shelves and coolers
- Front face products and organize displays
- Monitors gas station reporting (ensuring reports are generated in an accurate and timely matter)
- Performs gas station checklist procedures
- Properly documents and addresses identified issues
- Reports any incidents or suspicious behavior to a manager immediately
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds and be on your feet for several hours at a time
- Other tasks as needed
Education: A high school diploma or GED certificate.
Training & Experience: This is an entry level role. No experience required. We are hiring all shifts immediately for part time and full-time roles. New team members will receive on-the-job training.
This position requires a detail-oriented individual who can effectively manage inventory levels, analyze data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have experience in customer service, computer savy, detail oriented and strong time management skills. The Inventory Specialist/ Cashier will play a critical role in ensuring optimal inventory levels, minimizing stockouts, and maximizing profitability.
