Qualifications for Position:
- Ability to manage receiving processes for inventory in a fast-paced, outdoor environment.
- Southeast US plant identification highly preferred.
- Minimum of two years’ experience in a related position or field highly preferred.
- Familiar with Florida grades / standards for determining quality of trees and shrubs is highly preferred.
- Proficient in basic computer skills and excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to prioritize/organize in a time sensitive manner with strong attention to detail.
- Highschool diploma or equivalent required.
- Team player mindset required.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Position requires work duties to be performed both outdoors in plant nursery (90%) and in office (10%).
- Assist management with organization, labeling, tagging and inventory control processes.
- Inventory reporting.
- Reconciling information gathered and sent, inputting and checking that it collaborates with information inputted into inventory system.
- Physically counting plants, shrubs, and tree materials.
- Assist in preparing purchase orders for plant and tree material for stock, and special orders from customers.
- Assist in reviewing prices and material specifications from vendors and suppliers to ensure the best quality and price points.
- Help to maintain purchasing files and pricing lists.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory cycle counts.
- Provide support to our sales, inventory, and nursery teams as needed.
- Additionally: This position includes hours spent outdoors in a plant nursery environment walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and some light lifting.
Bonus Skills Preferred:
- Southeast US plant identification highly preferred.
- Commercial plant nursery and/or landscaping industry experience highly preferred.
- Ability to be innovative and be resourceful to accomplish goals.
- Language: Applicants bilingual in Spanish are encouraged to apply.

Compensation:
- $16.00 - $19.00 / Hour (Starting Range)
