Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented, hard-working Inventory Specialist with warehouse experience and excellent math and communication skills. Your responsibilities would include maintaining inventory records, conducting inventory counting processes, preparing balance and shortages reports. Developing procedures to effectively manage and maintain a company's inventory and protocols for loss mitigation.
Inventory Clerk Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and updating inventory records.
- Counting materials, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock to keep the inventory up-to-date.
- Reporting inventory discrepancies between physical counts and computer records.
- Developing or improving upon inventory management procedures.
- Stocking and distributing warehouse supplies, equipment or merchandise.
- Compiling balance, price and cost reports and any other type of necessary report.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
- Receive and process incoming shipments.
- Pulling & preparing orders for shipping (dusting, bubble wrapping, palletizing etc.)
- Assist in roles in other areas.
Inventory Clerk Requirements:
- High school diploma.
- 2+ years' experience in inventory management.
- Excellent math and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to operate forklifts, clamp trucks, order pickers, and other warehouse equipment a plus.
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Exhibits the ability to work well with others and maintain organization between cross-related departments
